S. Camille Reifers

Camille Reifers is the managing partner of Reifers Holmes & Peters LLC. The primary focus of Ms. Reifers’ practice is civil defense litigation in high exposure matters. She has successfully achieved board certification as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA). She has tried numerous jury cases to verdict both in state and federal courts. She has won defense verdicts for her clients in grade crossing, FELA, and third-party wrongful death claims involving substantial potential damages. She has successfully defended her clients in toxic exposure cases, breach of contract, eminent domain, construction law disputes, whistleblower actions, employment law cases (e.g. Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, and Equal Pay Act), as well as appellate matters before both state and federal courts. Ms. Reifers has a strong record in obtaining dismissal or summary judgment for her clients prior to trial. She routinely negotiates settlements for her clients, including multi-million dollar negotiations. Ms. Reifers has served as a teacher for numerous years at a trial college sponsored by the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, working to improve the trial skills of litigators from around the country. Additionally, she has served as a past Regional Vice President of the NARTC and is a current member of the NARTC executive committee. Ms. Reifers is the current president-elect of the NARTC.
