Sadie earned her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Akron. She originates from Northeast Ohio and Zanesville, Ohio. While in law school, she volunteered with Southeastern Ohio Legal Services in Newark, Legal Aid Society of Columbus, and participated in the law school’s Immigration Clinic where she was part of a team that helped asylum seekers obtain asylum.

She lives in Newark with her husband, Brett, and their son.
