Biography

Samantha Barzaga is an Associate in the firm's Orlando office. She focuses her practice in the areas of nursing home and assisted living facility defense, personal injury, negligent security, and premises liability.

Ms. Barzaga completed her undergraduate studies at Florida State University where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law. Throughout law school, Ms. Barzaga served as a teaching assistant in both contract law and cybersecurity and privacy law, a member of the Student Advisory Board, and as a Stoops Fellow with a certification in privacy law. She was also a member of the Florida State University International Human Rights Advocacy Clinic, where she worked with organizations in the DRC to advocate for human rights in the region.

Before joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Samantha worked as a medical malpractice defense and family Law Clerk in Tallahassee. Additionally, she honed her legal skills as a Law Clerk at CSK.
