Biography

Managing Partner, Samer Habbas was born and raised in Southern California, where he currently resides with his wife and three children. As an undergrad student, Habbas began as a Biological Sciences major at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). During which, he focused his elective courses in Political Science. In his second year, Habbas found himself more invested in his Political Science courses and decided that he was best suited to pursue law. He proactively changed his major and held employment at a personal injury law firm soon after.

During his time at the law firm, he helped prepare discovery responses, demand letters and many other tasks. Habbas learned a lot about the ins and outs of a personal injury law firm and was certain that he had found his calling. He was confident that with his strong voice and analytical skillset, he could help individuals overcome life-altering accidents. Habbas’ passion for law derives from his strong-willed commitment to aid victims of injustice.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UCI, Habbas went on to attend Whittier School of Law. His years at law school only amplified his passion to become an attorney. However, one course he took intensified his focus on personal injury law; Torts. This course focuses on the fundamentals of “tort law” — a set of common-law doctrines that assign duties of care and liability for injuries. Habbas graduated Cum Laude with his Juris Doctor (JD) and earned a CALI Excellence award for obtaining the highest grade in his “Immigration Law” course.

Aside from excelling in his academics, Habbas took a position at another personal injury law firm, where he became the first point of contact for their clients. At this firm, he learned a lot about how insurance companies try to wash out a victim’s injuries and how some doctors under-report records to profit from the insurance companies. These unjust acts fueled Habbas to want to fight against insurance companies that devalue the claims of an individual’s injuries.

Almost immediately after Habbas passed the California Bar Examination, he established his own personal injury law firm in Southern California; Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC. Over the past 13 years, his firm has grown exponentially, where he has put together a strong team of fellow attorneys and staff members. As the firm’s proprietor, Habbas has focused one of the core objectives on “the client comes first”. This mantra is to ensure that members of the firm will take matters to the distance and never back down until the client has received the best compensation. To Habbas and the fellow associates, a client is never seen as a number. A client’s satisfaction is the firm’s success. Habbas inhabits a unique and effective approach towards opposing attorneys and insurance companies, which has resulted in significant settlement amounts. His tenacious style has led him to achieve millions for his firm.

Habbas is currently a member of Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA), California Brain Injury Association (CBIA), and Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC). Habbas has also achieved many awards of recognition, such as Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers California Rising Stars, and Top 100 Trial Lawyers.

With ever-growing success, Habbas is always looking to give back to the community in more ways than representing them in the courtroom. Habbas has made sizeable contributions to many nonprofit organizations: Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, Los Angeles Mission Homeless Shelter; University of California, Irvine — School of Law, Mission Hospital, East Los Angeles Women’s Center, and more.
