Biography

Sam is an associate at Starnes Davis Florie, devoting his practice to complex litigation and appellate advocacy with a focus on higher education, environmental law, class actions, and all forms of commercial disputes, including antitrust claims. While attending law school at the University of Alabama School, Sam was an Executive Editor of the Alabama Law Review, received the Judge Walter P. Gewin Best Brief Award for the University of Alabama Moot Court Competition, was a Competition Finalist and awarded Outstanding Brief at the Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition, and was appointed to Order of the Barristers. Prior to law school, Sam worked in sales in Washington D.C.
