Samuel A. Reep

Sam Reep is an attorney with the Orange County, California law firm of Brown & Streza LLP. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial real estate, business planning and contracts serving clients in a broad range of sectors, including real property, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, insurance and financial services. To best meet the goals of his clients Sam collaborates with all departments of Brown & Streza and outside professional advisors.

Prior to joining Brown & Streza, Sam worked extensively in commercial real estate. During this time, he represented both landlord and tenants in lease negotiations as well as buyers and sellers of commercial properties ranging from $2 Million to $20 Million. Sam also performed general counsel work for small to mid-sized companies assisting clients with entity selection, formation, contract review and preparation, buy-sell agreements and compliance. While first out of law school, Sam practiced complex business litigation, giving him a deep understanding of how business problems arise, how to correct those problems and how to avoid them in the first place.

Sam earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego, School of Law, where he was a member of the Business Law Society and student body champion of the school’s annual Battle of the Brains competition. During law school, Sam interned for the global surf brand Quiksilver in the legal division, where he learned the complex dynamics of organizing and executing legal strategies globally. Sam received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he graduated with Dean’s Honors.

In his free time, Sam enjoys a balance of watching movies and staying active, and has recently completed multiple marathons. He also sits on the Board of Trustees for the Westerly School of Long Beach.
