Biography

Sanjay has over 20 years of legal experience and is admitted to the Missouri Bar and Illinois Bar. Sanjay is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and attended DeSmet Jesuit High School. He attended Washington University and St. Louis University School of Law. Sanjay planned on going to medical school until his father suffered a brain injury because of a physician’s negligence. Sanjay began his legal career with the Missouri Public Defender’s Office in Nevada, Missouri. As a public defender, he represented the rights of indigent individuals accused in four Missouri counties. Sanjay then shifted from representing criminal clients to clients injured in railroad accidents. Sanjay is an attorney with over twenty years of experience and has effectively litigated cases in Missouri, Illinois, and in various federal and appellate courts.
