Biography

Choosing the right family law attorney is the most important decision you will make in protecting yourself, your children, and your assets. To Sara A. Lynch of the Hunter Law Firm, getting to know you and your family is a crucial part of your case. While many attorneys shuffle through family law matters by case number, Sara is as interested in your family as she is in the facts. As a zealous advocate for her clients, she is organized, detail-oriented and efficient in an effort to ease you through these challenging times. Sara’s practice is held in high regard by both judges and colleagues alike; in fact, Sara is so well respected that she was asked to serve as a substitute judge for the City of Hampton, Virginia and has received several referrals from opposing litigants.

As a Managing Partner at the Hunter Law Firm, Sara concentrates her practice on family law matters, which include divorce, equitable distribution, custody, visitation, spousal support, child support, adoption, as well as preparation of prenuptial, post-marital, and separation agreements. Sara takes pride in how she handles each of her cases and is particularly proud of successfully arguing before the Supreme Court of Virginia. Sara approaches each client with the mindset, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Her priority is to provide the client the best service. Sara considers it a privilege to be chosen by a client to assist him/her during one of the most difficult times in life, a divorce. Her desire is to protect the client’s relationship with his/her children and preserve the client’s finances. At the commencement of each case, Sara develops goals and strategies to accomplish the best possible outcome.

Born and raised in Illinois, Sara has made her home here in Virginia with her husband and two children. In life outside the courtroom, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, decorating, gardening, and traveling to New York City. As your family law attorney, Sara will litigate your case with compassion and will make it her priority to provide you with successful results.

She got a lot of money from me to put me in a court groom for 5min. She did not know this area of law. She should have known I had no jurisdiction before taking my money. Also please don't tell me to...
