Biography

SARA E. SPRATT, an Associate with the Firm, is a member of the firm's defense litigation team with a practice that is focused upon commercial transportation, maritime and admiralty, motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, construction negligence, construction defects and products liability. Sara has appeared in federal and state courts throughout the United States and represents clients in all phases of litigation, including discovery, pre-trial motion practice, depositions, dispositive motions and appeals. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced at a defense firm concentrating her work on aviation and aerospace claims, representing insurers, product manufacturers, municipalities and premises contractors. Sara also has experience with plaintiffs’ litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death claims.

Sara was named as an Emerging Lawyer in 2017 by Illinois Leading Lawyers.

Sara is a graduate of Central Michigan University (B.A.) and Michigan State University College of Law (J.D.), where she graduated with honors, cum laude. Sara is licensed in Michigan (2008), Illinois (2009), U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (2011), U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin (2016) and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (2016).
