Biography

Sara is an Associate in Farris’ Litigation group, where she maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on estate and corporate & commercial litigation. Sara advocates for clients, assisting them through complex disputes.

Sara earned her JD from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Sara is a recipient of the Jack Giles, QC Award in Advocacy and the Harold and Anne Bedner Uphill Scholarship in Law. In law school, Sara helped found the UBC Oral Advocacy Society and served as an executive member of the Indigenous Law Students’ Association. Sara participated in the UBC Innocence Project, Pro Bono Students Canada, Law Students’ Society, UBC Law Review, and has experience working as a law student at an administrative tribunal.

Previously, Sara obtained her BA with distinction from UBC, completing a double major in History and English (Language and Literature) and the co-operative work learning program.

Sara is passionate about community, local history, music, and animals.
