Biography

Sarah Cohen represents real estate developers, construction management companies, and contractors in complex civil matters. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, labor law, and general liability. Ms. Cohen has over 12 years of litigation and investigative experience in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining London Fischer, Sarah was an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Enforcement and Financial Crimes Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General. In that role, she prosecuted a variety of financial crimes including insurance fraud, criminal tax offenses, and healthcare fraud. Earlier in her career, Sarah served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, where she prosecuted human trafficking, sex crimes, and child abuse cases in the Special Victims Bureau. In both roles, Sarah led long-term investigations in cooperation with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

At London Fisher, Sarah draws on her deep experience as a prosecutor in evaluating and investigating claims and developing successful litigation strategies on behalf of her clients.

Sarah continues to advocate for women and victims of gender-based violence through her participation in the Human Trafficking committee of the New York Women’s Bar Association.
