Biography

Attorney Murray has practiced in the area of family and matrimonial law since 2008. Her work has included trial, research and appellate matters. Her professional achievements include being designated by the Connecticut Law Tribune as a 2015 New Leader in the Law. She has also been selected a New England Super Lawyers ® Rising Star® 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 in the area of Family Law. In 2014 and 2016, she was selected as one of the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys Under 40 in Connecticut by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. Additionally, Sarah has been awarded "10 Best Under 40 in Connecticut for Client Satisfaction" by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys in 2016.

She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law and the College of the Holy Cross, where she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. At Holy Cross, Attorney Murray was selected as a valedictorian nominee due to her top academic performance. While in law school, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future awards in Juvenile Law, Higher Education Law, and Law and Literature of Crime. Attorney Murray was the recipient of the Public Interest Law Group Summer Fellowship in two successive years and was the recipient of the Helen Z. Pearl Feminist Law Prize. In addition, Attorney Murray served as Executive Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal.

Attorney Murray is a co-author of Electronically Stored Information: What Matrimonial Lawyers and Computer Forensics Need To Know, 23 J. Am. Acad. Matr. Law. 1 (2010) and is the author of Electronical Stored Information: How E-Mail, Texting, and Your Facebook Friends Can Affect Your Divorce, 34 Fam.Advocate No.1, pg. 26 (Summer 2011). And, recently moderated "Establishing and Modifying Support Orders after Dan v. Dan" at the Connecticut Bar Association's 2016 Connecticut Legal Conference.

Currently, Attorney Murray is on the Board of Editors of the Connecticut Bar Journal. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
