Sarah Stilz is a partner at WSHB’s Orange County office, where she specializes in medical malpractice, healthcare law, elder abuse, and employment litigation. With extensive experience in defending healthcare professionals, medical groups, acute care facilities, and senior living facilities, Sarah provides exceptional legal representation through all stages of litigation, including trial.

What truly sets Sarah apart is her profound passion for defending healthcare professionals, a passion deeply rooted in her neuroscience background and a lifelong interest in the healthcare industry. Inspired by her parents, both practicing physicians, Sarah has developed a unique perspective and commitment to her field.

Sarah’s additional expertise in employment law complements her healthcare practice, allowing her to address workplace disputes, discrimination, and compliance issues within healthcare settings, among others. This dual focus enables Sarah to offer comprehensive legal strategies that protect the interests of healthcare professionals and institutions, as well as both small- and large-scale employers.

Sarah's academic credentials are equally impressive. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2015. During her time in law school, she completed two judicial clerkships and internships with the City Attorney’s Office and USD’s Legal Clinics. She graduated with a concentration in civil litigation and was recognized for completing 100 pro bono hours, providing legal assistance to underprivileged community members.

Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, weightlifting, scuba diving, and snowboarding. She is a proud mother of two beautiful girls, and her family shares many adventures with their loyal Australian Shepherd.
