Born and raised in Philadelphia, Sarah Tarczewski approaches family law with a dedication that is deeply personal. At Cooper Family Law, she balances compassionate listening with a trial-ready strategy, ensuring her clients feel heard and protected. Sarah knows that legal battles are stressful, her goal is to find common-sense resolutions, though she remains a formidable advocate in the courtroom when negotiations fail. Before her current role, she represented union members in diverse criminal and family matters, a period that solidified her commitment to protecting the rights of everyday people. Her expertise spans child support, custody, and guardianships, as well as sensitive PFA hearings. Sarah’s legal foundation was built at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, where she excelled as a Beasley Scholar. Her clinical work included litigating for the Family Law Litigation Clinic and assisting transgender clients with name-change petitions through the Mazzoni Center. An active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Sarah continues her mission for justice through extensive pro bono work.
