Sarterus Rowe: Attorney with Truce Law, PLLC

Biography

Sarterus Rowe serves as the firm’s Systems Attorney, combining legal insight with a talent for improving how work gets done. Raised between Lewiston, Idaho, and Vancouver, Washington, Sart developed an early fascination with how systems operate, whether in law, technology, or even the strategy of a good board game. Sart was drawn to the legal profession by a belief that strong legal frameworks can drive real change, and early exposure to how ADA accommodations can transform daily life reinforced that commitment. Family law became a natural focus, especially through mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution that help families find practical, mutually beneficial outcomes. With clients, Sart leads with active listening and thoughtful planning, keeping an eye on both immediate concerns and long-term goals. Known for creative problem-solving and process optimization, Sart works to make legal steps clearer, smoother, and more accessible. Outside of work, Sart is a flow arts enthusiast and practices fire breathing with safety as a priority. Sart also enjoys gaming, storytelling, and favorites like board games and Magic: The Gathering. Sart volunteers in family law clinics and has provided pro bono support to artists, with a strong interest in digital civil rights, privacy, and access to knowledge.
