Biography

Sasha Brauer is an Associate in OFP’s Commercial Real Estate practice and brings strong experience representing clients in land use and zoning matters. She’s represented clients at public hearings before local government boards and commissions to secure land use entitlements, including rezonings and special exceptions. Sasha also adeptly negotiated with local government attorneys and officials, analyzed case law and statutes to appeal adverse zoning determinations, and reviewed technical reports such as environmental studies, civil engineering plans, traffic impact studies, and architectural renderings. Sasha was instrumental in drafting land use application materials, spearheading community outreach strategies, and organizing community meetings. Her representative projects included multifamily residential and industrial rezonings, mixed-use redevelopment projects, and special exceptions for various uses such as an equine medical center, car wash, rehabilitative facility, and drive-through restaurant. Notably, Sasha served as zoning counsel for Loudoun County’s first “expedited” rezoning pilot program, approving a 100 percent affordable housing project.
