Ms. Scarlett Akkam received her Bachelor of Social Work from Michigan State University in 2010 and her Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2013. While at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, she participated in the Immigration Law Clinic and the Voice for Justice program working with Refugees and Asylees. Ms. Akkam is an active member of the Michigan Bar Association.
