Biography

Scott A. Bachert is a distinguished attorney known for his legal acumen and contributions in various legal fields. Renowned for his work in bankruptcy and commercial law, Scott served as a Panel Bankruptcy Trustee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Kentucky, from 1992 to 2005. His leadership within the legal community is underscored by his role as President of the Bowling Green - Warren County Bar Association in 1989 and as Chairman of the Kentucky Bar Association's Commercial Code Committee from 1988 to 1989. In addition to his professional roles, Scott contributed significantly as a member of the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission's Special Study Commission on the Uniform Commercial Code.

Notably, Scott co-authored "Workers Compensation" in the Kentucky Law Journal, Vol. 74, 1986, and wrote "Recall Letters" for the Products Liability Trial Notebook, published by the Defense Research Institute in 1988. As an active member of both the American Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute, Scott maintains influential involvement in the legal community.
