Biography

Scott C. Evans is a founding partner of Evans Moore, LLC and a nationally recognized South Carolina trial lawyer with a strong record in personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, civil rights, and complex insurance coverage cases. A top honors graduate of the College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, Scott received the Order of the Coif, Order of the Wig and Robe, five CALI awards (including Insurance Law, Evidence, and Constitutional Law), and was a member of the Moot Court team for which he was awarded the Order of the Barristers. Upon graduation from law school, Scott served as a law clerk to a United States District Judge.

Evans has been named a South Carolina Super Lawyers “Rising Star” from 2014 to 2018, selected to Super Lawyers from 2019 to 2025, and has repeatedly obtained some of the top jury and non-jury verdicts in South Carolina and nationwide, often far surpassing initial insurance offers.

A former collision repair technician and automotive painter, he brings a practical, detail-oriented perspective to catastrophic trucking and auto cases. Outside the courtroom, he enjoys restoring classic full-size Chevrolets and spending time with his family in Georgetown, South Carolina.
