Biography

Scott Knight is an associate at McConnell Van Pelt, LLC, providing litigation support in all areas of the firm’s practice. Before joining MVP, Mr. Knight worked in private practice focusing primarily on civil litigation, including medical malpractice, professional liability, complex commercial litigation, and general liability.

During law school, Mr. Knight worked in the legal department for a state medical association helping to provide legal analysis and advice to its healthcare professional-members. Mr. Knight has been a mentor for Denver University Sturm College of Law’s Professional Mentoring Program since 2020.

Mr. Knight earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2013. He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 2016. During law school, Mr. Knight was a member of the Indiana Health Law Review and participated in the school’s Moot Court Competition.

Mr. Knight is admitted to practice in Colorado, Indiana, and Illinois, as well as before the United States District Court for the Districts of Colorado, Northern District of Indiana, and Southern District of Indiana.
