Scott G. Hastings

Scott G. Hastings is an associate with the law firm, Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A. His practice is focused in the areas of real estate, zoning and land use law, debt collections, and general corporate law.

The Stark County native earned his B.A. Degree in History from Malone College and, while finishing his undergraduate degree, Scott worked with the firm's title company, Alpha Land Title Agency Inc., in the areas of residential and commercial property transactions. He then began his career in law working with the firm as a clerk while, at the same time, completing his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law, graduating magna cum laude.

Scott is a licensed title agent, and serves as Vice President and Secretary of Alpha Land Title Agency, the law firm's title agency. Scott is a member of both the Stark County and the Ohio State Bar Associations and also serves on the board of directors and as Vice President of the Community Mediation Center of Stark County. He is a member of the Jackson Township Rotary, a member of Sts. Philip and James Church in Canal Fulton and is a volunteer and coach for Jackson Youth Football. Scott has been named one of "Ohio Rising Stars" by Cincinnati Magazine Ohio Super Lawyers — Rising Stars Edition® and superlawyers.com (top lawyers under 40). Scott resides in Jackson Township.
