Biography

SCOTT WING, a Shareholder with the Firm, of Leahy, is a member of the Firm’s insurance coverage practice group. Mr. Wing’s practice includes a wide range of insurance coverage matters, with a particular emphasis on first party property coverage issues, motor truck cargo and warehouse legal liability and coverage litigation and the defense and coverage of national class action litigation.

Mr. Wing is a frequent lecturer to insurance companies and industry groups and has served as a presenter for the Property Loss Research Bureau (“PLRB”) on issues involving property claim management and appraisal. Most recently, he presented a program entitled “Managing Complex Homeowners Claims” at the 2016 PLRB National Claims Conference in San Antonio, Texas. Scott has also been selected six times as one of Illinois’ Super Lawyers' Rising Stars, including 2018.

Mr. Wing is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, the Northern District of Indiana and the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. Mr. Wing has also appeared in and litigated matters Federal District Courts in New York, New Jersey, Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Maryland.

Mr. Wing is a graduate of Purdue University (B.S.) and the DePaul University College of Law (J.D.).
