Sean Alan Casey

Sean A. Casey is an Employment and Labor lawyer helping clients in Pennsylvania. He represents clients in disability discrimination, racial discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment and wrongful termination cases. He also practices in workers compensation and social security disability insurance (SSDI) claims. Mr. Casey is certified as a Specialist in Workers’ Compensation by the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Casey is the owner of Sean A. Casey, Attorney at Law, LLC, with an office located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. For 25 years Mr. Casey has practiced primarily in the areas that include Employment Law and Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation. Mr. Casey holds certifications as a Mediator with the Western District Court of Pennsylvania. He also holds certifications in Collaborative Law through the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania (CLASP). Since 2012, Mr. Casey has been a Pro Bono Mediator for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Pittsburgh Office (EEOC). He has made numerous presentations regarding the interaction of Employment Law and Workers’ Compensation. Mr. Casey is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association, Western Pennsylvania Employment Lawyers’ Association, West Virginia Bar Association, and Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania (CLASP). He is a past chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Section for the Allegheny County Bar Association, and a past vice chair of the ACBA Collaborative Law Committee. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University, and his B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University (Political Science and Environmental Studies).
