Biography

Since joining the firm in 2011, Sean J. Beaton, Esq. has developed and cemented his reputation as a tenacious trial attorney who fights and wins for injured workers every single day. Sean’s passion for the craft and unrelenting work ethic resulted in the prestigious Super Lawyers Magazine nominating him to the 2020 New York Metro Rising Stars list.

Sean’s legal career began as a NYS Criminal Investigator where he received numerous commendations for his work in combating identity theft and document fraud. At the same, he was able graduate Magna Cum Laude from Touro Law School. Therein, he also served as Research Editor for the Touro Law Review and published an article on corporate policing that has been cited by numerous legal journals nationwide.

At FBR, Sean continues to use his criminal justice background as he leads our Workers’ Compensation Law Enforcement Division. Sean’s zealous representation at trial has facilitated countless Police Officers, Detectives and Corrections Captains being awarded the benefits and just compensation they so truly deserve. In addition, Sean is an Advisory Board Member at Northwell Health Dept. of Occupational & Environmental Medicine. As an expert in the field, Sean is frequently called upon to speak to our friends in the labor community about legal issues concerning workers’ compensation, third-party liability and bodily injury cases.
