Biography

Seffy is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Department and oversees the bankruptcy and insolvency practice in the firm. Until recently, he served in the Ministry of Justice in a number of positions, where he was head of insolvency and taxation and responsible for special affairs in the Department of Management and Special Affairs in Counseling and Legislation department.

Seffy’s practice assists companies and financial institutions in insolvency proceedings, as well as companies and boards in financial difficulty. To that end, he works closely with other departments in the firm, including Banking and Finance and Litigation.

As part of his job at the Ministry of Justice, Seffy led the drafting of the Insolvency and Economic Rehabilitation Law, 2018 in the government and Knesset. Seffy brings to his position the experience and knowledge he has accumulated and specialises in preparing financial institutions and companies for the law’s entry into force.
