Biography

Selina Pravin Patel is a Partner in the firm’s Orlando office. She is a member of the firm’s Construction Group and represents contractors and developers in construction defect claims.

Ms. Patel earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University where she graduated magna cum laude and achieved Dean’s List all semesters. During law school, Ms. Patel was a charter member of NSU Law’s Honors Program, a member of Moot Court and Nova Law Review, and Vice President of the First Generation Professionals Legal Society. Prior to law school, Ms. Patel attended the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Law.

Ms. Patel has interned with both Magistrate Judge Alicia Otazo-Reyes at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and with Justice Barbara Lagoa at the Florida Supreme Court.

Ms. Patel was also the recipient of the Broward County Women Lawyers’ Association 2020 Rising Star Scholarship - Gold Star Award and elected to serve on The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors.
