Seth J. Rutman

Seth J. Rutman is a Partner with Rafool, PLLC, and is admitted to practice in the courts of Florida, New York, and New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Seth assists clients in navigating complex family law cases with a wide array of novel and complex issues such as valuing and equitably distributing multimillion dollar marital estates, children’s issues, alcohol and substance abuse issues, parental alienation, international and domestic relocation, and appellate work. Seth also assists clients in bringing and litigating defamation actions in order to protect their hard-earned reputations.

Seth has been named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers for 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Prior to joining Rafool, PLLC, Seth litigated complex nursing home malpractice and commercial litigation matters at a boutique law firm in New York City and clients in every facet of litigation, in the negotiating of commercial real estate leases, in business contract drafting, and has also represented clients before the New York State Liquor Authority.

Seth believes in open and honest communication with clients in order not only to address their needs and goals, but also to formulate litigation plans in order to achieve his clients’ aims.
