Biography

Shannon joined the firm as a summer student in 2018, and completed his articles in 2020. He practices in the area of general insurance litigation, with a developing focus in transportation, personal injury and subrogation. He has appeared on behalf of clients in matters before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.

Shannon is passionate about client advocacy and contributing to local communities. Shannon has served as chair of the Richmond Youth and Family Court Committee where he helped influence policy decisions at the municipal level. He also clerked with the Provincial Court of Alberta where he conducted legal research and assisted judges in drafting family, criminal and civil court decisions

While studying law at the University of Calgary, Shannon was heavily involved in the student community serving as VP Academic, volunteering in Pro Bono and Student Legal Assistance, and serving as President of the University of Calgary law school rugby team for two years.

In his free time, Shannon enjoys playing competitive basketball, discovering new restaurants, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
