Biography

By way of introduction, I am Shannon Simpson and I am the owner of Simpson Legal Group, LLC. I have, for the past twenty (20) years, dedicated 100% of my legal practice to the area of family law, first at Telpner Peterson Law Firm, LLP as a Partner and now in my solo practice. I am married and have three beautiful daughters. I have resided in the Council Bluffs area for over 20 years.

My education consists of earning my Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University in 1994 and obtaining my Juris Doctorate degree from Creighton University School of Law in 1997. I am admitted to practice law in both the state and federal courts of Iowa and Nebraska. I am also admitted to practice law in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. I am a member of the Iowa and Nebraska state and federal bar associations as well as the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. I am also a member of the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.
