Biography

Ms. Evert has been an attorney since 1995. Her desire to seek justice for children led her to work with organizations dedicated to combatting child abuse, first as an intern, and later as a Staff Attorney in Washington, D.C.

Upon returning to California, she served the San Diego community as a Deputy District Attorney. As a prosecutor for 16 years, Ms. Evert handled matters ranging from DUIs to Capital Murder. Along the way, she also became immersed in Juvenile Delinquency / Dependency. As a Deputy District Attorney, Ms. Evert has been considered an expert in the areas of Juvenile Justice, Identity Theft, and Complex Fraud. She now brings her expertise as a tireless advocate and skilled litigator to Family and Estate Planning Law.

A native San Diegan, Sharla currently resides in Murrieta, CA, with her two teenage children, and their four dogs.
