Biography

Sharon J. Barker is an attorney with Morgan & Morgan with her primary practice focusing on Workers’ Compensation claims.

She was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. Sharon graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia where she earned a degree in Journalism with a minor in Spanish. Thereafter, Sharon went on to earn her law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University as well as an Advanced Legal Writing & Research Certificate. During law school, Sharon started clerking for Workers’ Compensation firms, which sparked her desire to help injured workers. Prior to joining the Firm, Sharon represented unions, personal injury clients, and injured workers.

Sharon is admitted to practice in all State and Superior Courts of Georgia as well as the Southern District Federal Courts of Georgia. She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Savannah Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.
