Biography

Associate Attorney Shaun Rosenberg is a dedicated attorney who represents clients in criminal matters ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies in Palm Beach, Martin, Broward, Saint Lucie, Miami-Dade, and Indian River Counties. He is incredibly client-focused and understands the very personal and collateral consequences these cases can have of his clients. Being a family man and a father of one, Shaun also understands the impacts on his client’s family. Originally born in Northern New Jersey, Shaun moved to Florida at a very young age. Shaun obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida. He then attended Barry University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree and met his wife. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013 and the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Florida in 2017. After being admitted to the Florida Bar, Shaun accepted a position as Assistant Regional Counsel with The Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Saint Lucie County, Florida handling civil dependency cases. While managing over 100 dependency cases, he was able to successfully argue countless motions to positive results for his clients and tried over 15 cases fighting for his clients to maintain their constitutionally given parental rights. Realizing his passion was in Criminal Law, Shaun accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney for The Office of the State Attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida. While at the State Attorney’s Office, he was promoted to the position of Supervising Attorney in the County Criminal Division. Shaun was entrusted with over 200 cases. His responsibilities included overseeing, educating, and training new Assistant State Attorneys, witness preparation of jury trials, preparing experts for jury trials, determination of what charges to file, case-by-case strength and weakness assessment, preliminary hearings and motion arguments, jury selection questions (voir dire), and negotiating. Shaun prosecuted cases including charges for DUI, criminal traffic offenses, drug possession, obstruction, and battery charges, and took more than 30 cases to jury trial. Now on the other side of the courtroom, Shaun uses his prosecutorial experience and insights, along with all of his natural and learned talents, to skillfully gain advantages for all clients he represents as a criminal defense lawyer at The Skier Law Firm.
