Shawn Bolger

Shawn Bolger is an Illinois real estate attorney representing buyers, sellers, investors, estates, and businesses in residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Her practice focuses on residential and commercial closings, probate and inherited property sales, title issues, contract negotiation, and resolving complex real estate matters involving estates, municipal compliance issues, and investor-owned properties.

Ms. Bolger regularly assists clients throughout Cook County, DuPage County, McHenry County, and surrounding Illinois communities with a wide range of real estate matters, including attorney review, title and escrow issues, Transfer on Death Instruments (TODIs), bond in lieu of probate transactions, foreclosure-related sales, seller financing, and commercial acquisitions and dispositions. Following in the footsteps of her father, who was also an attorney, Ms. Bolger developed an early appreciation for advocacy, negotiation, and helping clients navigate important life decisions. Ms. Bolger earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Denver before obtaining her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law. Since entering practice, she has represented clients in a broad range of Illinois real estate transactions and has developed extensive experience handling matters involving estates, title complications, investor transactions, and difficult closings.
