Biography

Shawn M. Neufeld is an accomplished attorney with experience in a wide range of banking commerce and business transactions. Shawn joined the firm as Associate in 1991, became a Director and Shareholder in 1999 and has served as the Firm’s Chief Managing Executive since 2002. Shawn’s areas of concentration are Business Law, Banking Law, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, New Jersey Commercial Lending, Employment Agreements, Business Formation and Business Transactions. Shawn is the Chair of the firm’s Business & Banking Practice Group. Mason, Griffin & Pierson's Business & Banking Practice Group provides high quality, cost-effective legal representation to public and private clients. The firm advises clients in formation of businesses, mergers, acquisitions, ADA compliance, succession planning, commercial leasing, corporate filings, partnership agreements, non-compete agreements, operating agreements and letters of credit. The firm is also able to handle business matters that may be contested, regardless of size or complexity such as contract disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, collections, commercial lease disputes and foreclosures. The Business & Banking Practice Group team monitors and stays up to date on all New Jersey legislature bills and regulations that have current or future potential impact on the everyday needs of business owners. In this manner, the attorneys take a pro-active approach to advising all their business and banking clients. Shawn’s community involvement includes years of service as a member of the Board of Trustees of Big Brothers Big Sisters Mercer County, a not for profit organization that provides adult matches to children in need with a exceptional one-on-one relationship that promotes both valuable aspects– advisor and friend. Shawn also supports the local neighborhood by donating his time and talent in coaching baseball. He has coached numerous local town and association teams over many years.
