Shawna Perau

Shawna Perau: Attorney with Boyes, Farina & Matwicyzk

Biography

Hailing from upstate New York, Shawna Perau began her litigation career having served in two trial law and litigation firms. The same legal skills that distinguished her tenures, today shape a boutique estate litigation and planning practice. Here, she handles nuanced and complex matters for a diverse client set, ranging from progressive millennials to seniors.

Her counsel spans litigation, planning, and the administration of wills, trusts, estates, and guardianships. Paralleling her legal work is a certification in volunteer advocacy. Her business litigation practice is underpinned by deep experience in two of its most specialized areas—construction and real estate.

Perau received her J.D. with honors, graduating magna cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law. She is an attorney in impeccable standing with the Florida Bar.

Ms. Perau is also a devoted Syracuse Orangemen basketball fan. She enjoys all forms of water sports and is an avid hiker.
