Biography

At WCM, Shira:

• Defends against a variety of general liability, premises liability, property damage, personal injury, and Labor Law claims.

Prior to joining WCM, Shira worked at a broad-based, regional insurance defense firm focusing on NYS Labor Law, premises liability, property damage, and other personal injury matters. She has also litigated and arbitrated complex proceedings involving post-employment covenants and contractual obligations of financial services executives in the financial services and banking industries. Shira has arbitrated at JAMS, FINRA, and the American Arbitration Association. Additionally, Shira has extensive e-discovery experience.

Honors and Distinctions

At Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Shira’s student Note, “You’ve Been Doxed: Now What? Adapting and Reinvigorating the Public Disclosure Tort to Remedy Unauthorized Publication of Personally Identifiable Information Online” was awarded the Sindell Torts Prize, First Place. Shira also served as an Associate Editor for the Case Western Reserve Journal of Law, Technology, and the Internet.
