Shiran specializes in the field of environmental law and regulation, with 13 years of practical experience. Shiran advises industrial manufacturers and multinational corporations on complex environmental issues, including regulatory investigations of soil and water contamination, clean air permitting and enforcement proceedings, as well as radiation, asbestos, and hazardous materials regulation. As part of her expertise, Shiran conducts internal environmental compliance audits for corporate clients, designed to assist them in meeting their environmental regulatory and licensing obligations. Shiran further specializes in the requirements applicable to manufacturers and importers in the industry and advises companies on their obligations under environmental legislation with regard to treatment of packaging waste, electronic waste and hazardous material waste.

Shiran also has experience representing corporate officers in criminal proceedings related to environmental offenses, as well as in representing clients in hearings before the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection and has successfully representing corporate clients in administrative proceedings regarding financial sanctions in the scope of millions of shekels resulting from claims of environmental violations.
