Biography

Shivani joined Share Lawyers in 2025. Since her call to the bar, Shivani has practiced in employment law exclusively. Shivani’s role as an employment lawyer on the Share Lawyers team includes conducting intakes, engaging in settlement negotiations, and drafting applications, motions, and mediation memorandums.

Prior to practicing law Shivani earned her BA in Philosophy and Biology at McMaster University, where she later completed a MA thesis exploring the epistemic validity of empathy. Since graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School, Shivani has used her education to provide empathetic client services to make the legal process as easy as possible.

In her free time Shivani enjoys exploring Toronto, trying new restaurants and cafes, shopping, and attending concerts. When she isn’t out on the town, she’s home watching anime and snuggling with her yorkie.
