Shlomit Buchinsky

Ms. Buchinsky joined Pillinger Miller Tarallo in June 2023, after practicing litigation on both the plaintiff and defense side. After receiving her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a clinical intern at both the civil and criminal litigation clinics, she joined a consumer litigation firm, which prosecuted federal claims in federal courts across the United States. There, she was also involved in the firm’s intake process, which included investigating claims and maintaining direct client contact. She then joined a consumer protection intake firm, where she created and managed the intake department for a high-volume consumer protection firm, gaining managerial experience by managing a team of 20 legal assistants, investigating claims, preparing cases for litigation, and managing the firm’s projects and litigation referral network. She then joined an insurance fraud investigation firm, where she litigated motor vehicle accident cases and argued matters before arbitrators and judges.

At Pillinger Miller Tarallo, Shlomit focuses her practice on automobile, construction, and general liability cases. She is involved in the firm’s trial practice group and women’s business development group.

Shlomit is admitted to practice in New York State and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She is a native of Israel and speaks fluent Hebrew. In addition to her law degree, she also holds a master’s degree in project management. Shlomit is a Brooklyn resident and is highly involved in her community. She enjoys baking, visiting museums, and enjoying New York City.
