Biography

Simon R. Tapia Morales is an Associate in the firm's Miami office. He was born in Argentina and immigrated to South Florida as a child. He is bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish.

Simon Morales attended Florida State University, receiving bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminology. After graduation, he worked directly with attorneys as a Paralegal in a commercial and residential real estate litigation firm.

After realizing his passion for advocacy, he attended the University of Miami School of Law and received his Juris Doctor and LL.M. in International Arbitration. While in law school, he gained valuable experience by participating in various programs, such as, the Immigration Clinic, Federal Appellate Clinic, the International and Comparative Law Review, and even became a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office.

Prior to join Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Morales worked for a large criminal and civil defense firm, eventually supervising an entire department of attorneys and staff.
