Biography

Spenser Jaenichen advises clients across various industries on complex commercial disputes and government investigations in federal and state courts throughout the country. He represents businesses in the energy, retail, e-commerce, hospitality, entertainment, and technology sectors, handling matters at all stages of litigation through trial and appeal.

Spenser’s practice encompasses business disputes, class actions, consumer protection defense, environmental counseling and litigation, insurance recovery, and white collar matters. He prepares fact and expert witnesses for testimony, manages discovery and expert witness strategy, handles dispositive motions, and coordinates clients’ public relations to align with litigation strategy. His work includes representing plaintiffs in voting rights matters and nonprofit organizations in government investigations through pro bono representation.

During law school, Spenser served as notes editor on the University of Illinois Journal of Law, Technology & Policy and represented veterans in the Veterans Legal Clinic as an Illinois Rule 7/11 Student Attorney. He participated in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition and taught legal writing and research to incoming LL.M. candidates as an adjunct instructor at the University of Illinois College of Law.
