Stacey Schwartz Perez

Stacey Schwartz Perez is a Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney who helps individuals and families plan for the future with confidence. Her practice includes estate planning, elder law, probate administration, trust administration, guardianship, special needs planning, and long-term care planning.

Stacey works with clients through every stage of life—from young adults creating their first estate plan, to growing families protecting their children, to retirees planning for incapacity and long-term care. Whether creating a proactive estate plan or guiding loved ones through the administration of an estate or trust after a loss, Stacey provides practical, personalized advice tailored to each family’s goals, values, and circumstances. She believes estate planning is not a one-time transaction, but an ongoing relationship that evolves as families grow, circumstances change, and new challenges arise. Stacey is passionate about building lasting relationships with her clients and serving as a trusted advisor through every stage of life.

Before joining RumbergerKirk, Stacey spent nearly eight years with a prominent elder law firm serving the Winter Park and Central Florida communities. During that time, she developed extensive experience counseling clients in estate planning, elder law, probate, trust administration, guardianship, and long-term care planning, while building lasting relationships with individuals, families, and professional advisors throughout the region.

Stacey earned her Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law, where she served as Research and Technical Editor of the Barry Law Review and received multiple academic awards for excellence in legal research, writing, and advocacy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida.

Stacey is an active member of the Central Florida legal community and regularly presents seminars on elder law, estate planning, probate, trust administration, guardianship, and long-term care planning. She is a member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Orange County Bar Association, and The Florida Bar’s Elder Law and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections.
