Stacy Rocheleau

Stacy M. Rocheleau graduated from Whittier College in Los Angeles in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. She then received her Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the University of San Diego Law School in 1996. After receiving her law degree, Stacy began as an associate attorney practicing in the fields of business law and family law for a local Las Vegas firm.Stacy Rocheleau is a member of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, Commercial Law League of America and having been admitted and qualified to practice before the Nevada District Court, U.S. District Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is a member in good standing of the Nevada Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association, the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys, National Association of Women Business Owners - Southern Nevada Chapter and is a member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. Rocheleau was featured by the Business Press of in their Entrepreneur section in May 2005. She was named as a "Who's who" by IN Business in 2006, and won the "Power Siblings" category (along with her two sisters and one brother) at the In Business "People of Influence" awards in November 2006.She is also on the founding board of directors for the Women of Distinction Foundation, a newly-established foundation formed in conjunction with the National Association of Women Business Owners to assist women business owners in furthering their businesses with a micro-loan program. Through donations, this foundation will provide small (under $35,000) short-term loans for low and moderate-income women entrepreneurs and/or women-owned businesses for start-up and expansion of a business, or for equipment, inventory, supplies and/or working capital.Stacy is also a new member of The Women's Leadership Council of the United Way of Southern Nevada which was created more than a year ago to help improve lives through education, health care and financial stability. The Council is a vehicle to encourage philanthropy, to inspire other women leaders to join in creating lasting change in our community and to raise the necessary dollars it takes to feed the hungry and provide shelter to the homeless.
