Biography

Stephanie Webster is an enthusiastic and devoted litigator with substantial experience in defending employers and municipalities. In addition, Stephanie routinely advises clients concerning a broad array of municipal legal issues and employment law matters outside the context of litigation.

As lead counsel, Stephanie has successfully defended numerous public employers in lawsuits involving claims of employment discrimination, wrongful termination, constitutional violations and negligent operation of motor vehicles.

Prior to joining the firm’s Charlotte office, Stephanie served as the Deputy City Attorney for the City of Charlotte, the City of Gastonia Police Attorney, as an Assistant United States Attorney in Atlanta, as the National Manager of Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance and Appeals Programs for the U.S. Postal Service in Washington, D.C., and as a Trial Attorney for the EEOC Charlotte District Office.
