Stephen Barry Kass

Stephen B. Kass is a tax and bankruptcy attorney with more than 29 years of experience helping individuals and businesses resolve high-stakes tax problems. Before starting his own practice, he worked with international tax consulting firms Marcum, LLP and Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where he spent years focused on tax controversy and tax resolution matters. Stephen earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and later completed an LL.M. in Taxation at New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as in the federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also admitted to the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. Stephen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the American Academy of Attorney CPAs, and the Tax Rep Network.
