Stephen D. McGiffert

Stephen D. McGiffert is a principal in the firm, practicing in our Business Law Practice Group, with emphasis on business law matters affecting individuals, corporations and other business entities. Steve has significant experience in corporate and real estate law.

Steve has been engaged in the practice of law in the Kansas City area since 1975. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 1972 earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He attended the University of Kansas Law School and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1975.

From 1978 to 1983, Steve served as corporate counsel to a large cooperative wholesale grocery company serving retail grocers in the Central Midwestern United States, during which time he gained extensive experience in the general legal affairs of business entities.
