Stephen Joseph Hurlburt

Growing up in Middletown, Ohio, gave Stephen Hurlburt a unique perspective on the community they now serve at Hurley Law. Stephen's journey into the legal field began at the University of Cincinnati, where they earned a degree in Criminal Justice, followed by a Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. However, his true education took place inside the courtroom. While still in law school, he spent a full year working under a limited license, assisting the prosecution at the Middletown Municipal Court. This wasn’t just an internship, it was a trial by fire. During that single year, he managed to perform and win nearly twenty trials, covering everything from complex misdemeanors to various traffic court matters. This intensive experience provided a level of unique trial skills that many attorneys take years to achieve. Now, as a dedicated member of the Hurley Law team, Stephen uses that hard-earned knowledge to advocate for his neighbors. Having been raised in the area, he understands the local courts from the inside out and are committed to providing the same tenacity and hometown pride to every client he represents in the courtroom today.
