Born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Stephen has lived all across the United States, but spent the majority of his youth in Carrollton, Texas, where he attended elementary, middle, and high school.
Stephen worked at several retail establishments while in high school and college, which provided the framework for his legal career. After graduating from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, he moved to the Midwest to pursue his passion for the law. While in law school, Mr. Le Brocq volunteered his time to represent indigent people accused of committing crimes and gained lots of trial experience very early on.
Stephen was licensed to practice law in both the State of Illinois and the State of Texas at the young age of 22. He is also licensed in four different federal courts across the United States, as well as two federal appellate courts. Throughout his years of experience, he has practiced in nearly all areas of law in both state and federal trial and appellate courts.
When Stephen first became an attorney, he argued a case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He prevailed, saving his client from jail time and in excess of one hundred thousand dollars. Mr. Le Brocq has also secured the dismissal of numerous felony and misdemeanor cases, obtained not guilty verdicts both in trials before judges and juries, won removal hearings in Immigration Courts allowing his clients to stay in the United States, and resolved many civil cases, including settling a case against a Fortune 500 company for over one million dollars.
Stephen has represented both individuals and businesses in nearly all areas of law across the entire State of Texas and Chicagoland. Stephen is an experienced, passionate litigator, who will fight relentlessly to make sure his clients rights are protected.
Stephen is a current member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and participates in other organizations such as the Dallas Bar Association.
