Biography

Stephen W. Buckley, from Hartford, Connecticut, was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1969 after graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1966 and Florida State University with a Juris Doctor degree (Phi Delta Phi) in 1969. He was a member of the Grievance Committee for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit (1976-1977). Mr. Buckley is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, and a member of the Lee County Bar Association. Other community activities include: Finance Committee for the Diocese of Venice (Southwest Florida Catholic Churches); Chairman of the St. Francis Parish Church Council; and Fort Myers Property Owners Association. Mr. Buckley has been with the firm since 1969 assisting clients with Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate and Real Property Law cases. Mr. Buckley is rated “AV” Preeminent®, which is the highest ranking under the Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Rating™ system.
