Biography

Stephen Whitmore is the leading partner of the firm’s Civil Litigation Practice and heads its Denver Metro office. With more than 30 years of courtroom experience, he has successfully litigated hundreds of cases in state, federal, and administrative forums. Steve handles a broad spectrum of matters—including commercial disputes, contract breaches, landlord-tenant conflicts, collections, foreclosures, replevin actions, construction defects, and mechanic’s liens—and represents both plaintiffs and defendants. His clients have ranged from banks, management companies, lenders, and construction firms to car dealers, small businesses, and individuals. Among his notable achievements are securing a jury verdict of over $100,000 for a subcontractor, negotiating a $200,000 bank loan down to $15,000 in federal court, obtaining a $16,000 settlement against a sheriff’s department, preparing mechanic’s liens to ensure contractor payment, defending social media defamation claims, and formally ending easements.

Used an unethical method in my case. Don't feel I received any benefit from his representation. A big waste of money. Seemed more interested in his fees than in my case.
